A great deal of commercial carpentry exists because another trade got there first. A leak means a ceiling comes down. A new circuit means a wall gets chased. The repair is finished, the tenant is still looking at a hole, and the contractor who made it has gone.
That gap is where jobs sit for weeks on most properties, because it is too small to interest a fit-out contractor and too visible to ignore. It is exactly the sort of work an employed technician absorbs into a normal week.

When a licensed contractor closes a repair, the hole they made is usually outside their scope. We pick that up as part of the same work order rather than as a second job you have to raise, which is the main reason these things sit unfinished.
A patch that is structurally perfect and visibly different is still a complaint. Texture, profile and paint are matched to the surrounding surface, and where a match is genuinely impossible we say so before starting rather than after.
Dust and noise decide when this work can happen far more than the work itself does. Occupied offices, clinics and food premises get evening or early scheduling, containment where it is needed, and the area left clean.

Not at this scale. Drywall repair, trim, shelving, cabinet hardware and tile are performed by our own technicians. Structural work and anything requiring a building permit is a different category and is coordinated through a licensed contractor.
Yes, and it is most of what this trade covers. If the original contractor has left an opening after a repair, tell us what was done and we will close it up and match the finish.
Yes. A turnover list is usually two dozen small items across several trades, which is awkward to place with specialists. We work the list in one or two visits and document each item as it is closed.
We work to that standard, and where it cannot be met we tell you up front. Aged paint and discontinued tile are the two that most often need a wider area redone to look right, and we would rather have that conversation before the work than after.
