Who we work for

Maintenance for banks and credit unions

A branch is a security building with a public counter attached, and almost everything that needs maintaining is on the boundary between those two things.

Branch work is dominated by controlled access and by the record of it. Who holds a key, which doors it opens, when it was issued and when it came back are questions a branch has to be able to answer, and most properties cannot.

The public side is presentation and safety. Vestibule and ATM lobby doors cycle constantly, the glazing takes impact, and a door that no longer latches is a security exposure rather than an inconvenience.

  • Rekeying and controlled key registers after staff changes

Why TrionX

How we approach branch work.

Key control with an actual record

A register recording every key, the doors it opens, the holder and the dates is what makes a branch auditable. We issue it to you rather than keeping it, and we update it on every visit that changes a key.

Restricted keyways, so duplication needs you

A standard keyway can be copied at any counter that cuts keys, which makes a rekey a temporary measure. On a restricted system blanks are supplied only to the registered holder, so a new key requires your authorisation.

Work planned outside banking hours

Almost nothing in a branch should be happening at a public counter. Work is planned for closed hours as a matter of course, and that goes into the quote rather than being raised on the day.

Common questions

Banks in Miami: questions we get asked

Can you provide a key register we can audit?

Yes, and it is standard on any lock or master key work we do. The register records every key issued, the doors or group it operates, the holder, and the dates it went out and came back. It is issued to you rather than held by us, and updated on every visit that changes a key.

What is a restricted keyway and does a branch need one?

A keyway whose blanks are supplied only to the registered holder of the system, so keys cannot be duplicated at a hardware counter. For a branch, where key control is the entire point, it is usually the difference between a rekey that means something and one that lasts until somebody visits a key cutter.

Can all work be done outside banking hours?

Yes, and that is the default assumption for a branch rather than a special request. Work is planned for closed hours, priced that way from the start, and sequenced so the branch opens normally. Emergency work is dispatched whenever it happens.

Do you work on vaults, safes or alarm systems?

No. Vaults, safes and monitored alarm systems belong to specialists in those products, and we do not represent otherwise. We handle the building around them: door hardware, access control hardware, locks and registers, glazing, and the finishes in public and staff areas.

Who carries the insurance for work at our branch?

TrionX carries general liability and workers compensation covering the work its own technicians perform, and every technician is a W-2 employee, background-checked before attending. For a licensed trade the contractor carries their own, and we verify the licence and certificate before they attend.
