Doors and hardware for Miami schools
A school does most of its door work in a few weeks a year, and anything that misses the window waits until the next one.
The calendar governs everything on a school site. Door work that would be routine anywhere else becomes impossible with children present, so it concentrates into the summer and the holiday breaks and has to finish to a date that cannot move.
The work itself is safety-led. Classroom and corridor doors have to latch reliably, exit devices have to release under load, and both are tested by behaviour rather than by inspection of the parts.

Can you complete a door programme over a school holiday?
Yes, and it is how most of this work gets done. We survey ahead of the break, sequence to a dated plan and commit to the reopening date. Where the volume will not fit the window we say so at quote stage rather than in the final week.
Are your technicians background-checked?
Yes. Every technician is a W-2 employee on our payroll, background checked before attending a property, and covered by our general liability and workers compensation insurance. Coordinated trades go to licensed contractors we verify first.
What gets checked on classroom doors?
Whether the door closes and latches under its own power, whether the closer is correctly set, whether the hardware operates cleanly from inside, and whether anything has been added to the door. On rated corridor doors, latching is the whole test.
Can urgent door repairs happen during term?
Yes. Anything affecting security or egress is attended during term, planned around the school day and coordinated with the site so a technician is never working unaccompanied around pupils. Non-urgent work is held for the next break.
