Glass for Miami auto dealerships

A chipped showroom pane is a sales problem before it is a maintenance one, because it sits between a customer and the vehicle they came to look at.

A dealership showroom is a glass box, and its glazing is doing presentation work rather than just keeping weather out. Large panes, long sightlines and lighting designed to flatter stock mean a chip or a crack reads immediately.

The panes are also large, which changes the job. Bigger units carry longer lead times, need more people to handle, and are more likely to sit near the boundary where re-glazing an opening becomes replacing a system.

Why TrionX

How we approach it.

Presentation faults get a short timeline

Glass, finishes and lighting are in-house, so a chipped pane or a scuffed reveal is fixed on our schedule rather than queued behind a contractor with other priorities.

Large panes need planning, not speed

Bigger units carry longer lead times and need handling equipment. We measure and confirm the specification before ordering, because getting it wrong means waiting for the lead time twice.

We say when it becomes permitted work

Re-glazing an existing opening is maintenance. Some large or structural showroom glazing needs a permit and a product approval submittal, and that is a licensed contractor job we coordinate.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Can you replace a large showroom pane?

Repair and re-glazing of an existing opening is performed by our own employees, and large showroom panes are usually within that. Where the work needs a permit or a product approval submittal, which some structural glazing does, it is coordinated through a licensed contractor and we say so at survey.

How long will a replacement pane take?

Longer than a standard storefront unit, because size drives both manufacture and handling. Nothing can be cut on site, so we measure, confirm the specification and order. Board-up secures the opening in the meantime if the pane is broken rather than chipped.

Can glass work happen outside selling hours?

Yes, and for anything in the showroom it usually should. Measuring can happen any time and fitting is planned before opening or after closing so the floor is presentable during selling hours. Emergencies are dispatched whenever they happen.

Should we keep our glass specifications on file?

Worth doing. Recording the type, thickness, tint and size for each opening turns a reorder from a fresh survey into a phone call, which matters most on the large panes where lead time is already the constraint.
